If you are planning on paying off delinquent taxes of any kind, please contact the Tax
Collector’s office for an up to date payoff amount BEFORE making your payment.
This website may not reflect all taxes and fees due or current interest
calculations. This website is intended to be informational, but does not
reflect transactions in real time.
If you are paying delinquent motor vehicle taxes through the Point & Pay website, be
aware that these payments are typically not posted in the Tax Collector’s office
until the next business day. Therefore you will not be released at the DMV
until the evening the payments are posted in the Tax Collector’s office. If you
need to be released at DMV sooner, you should come into the office to make your
payment.
Thank you.

Disclaimer:
This tax information is public information. The City of Norwalk ’s goal is to
provide this information to taxpayers and their agents in order to facilitate
timely tax payments and to improve tax collections. We update payment
information weekly. However, those using this application should recognize that
it is possible that they may not be able to find all of the information they are
seeking. For example: if a taxpayer’s name is misspelled; if a taxpayer has more
than one customer ID number; if a street address is spelled in a different
variation (ex., E Rocks Road instead of East Rocks Road), etc., it is possible
that in spite of your best efforts to search, and in spite of our best efforts
to provide the information, you may not locate all of the bills you are looking
for. If you cannot find what you are looking for by searching one way, we
suggest searching another way (for example, first by name, then by address). If
you are seeking a definitive answer as to what or how much you owe, there is no
substitute for speaking one on one with a tax collector’s office employee. If
you are seeking detailed payment history, there is no substitute for the receipt
you were issued at the time you made your payment. In the meantime, we would
appreciate feedback on the on line tax look up system in order to better serve
those who use it.
